MARKETING MANAGER

LOCATION AND WORK:
This position is located at our Independence, Ohio location. The ability to work in our office, with a hybrid schedule is required.

ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR TEAM:
The marketing manager is the linchpin of the marketing team, which includes specialists in branding, graphic design, SEO, content, paid media, and digital marketing. The marketing manager is a conduit between team members, leading the implementation of integrated marketing initiatives and ensuring work is on-time, on-budget, and on-goal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serving as the central contact for project management within the marketing department, coordinating activities for the team, facilitating workflow, maintaining project details in Basecamp, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Developing marketing campaign plans to build awareness and generate sales leads.
  • Translating marketing campaign plans into actionable work plans for the team to implement.
  • Manages the company’s events and trade show activities.
  • Monitoring marketing results in the company’s CRM, alerting the team when goals are not met, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Coordinating work with external vendors and marketing partners, managing deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Working with other departments within the company to fulfill marketing requests and gather input.
  • Ensuring work is error-free, on-budget, and meets quality and brand standards.
  • Job responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization’s values
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Education and training in marketing, potentially an undergraduate degree or college coursework, marketing/project management certifications (Hubspot, Google, Salesforce, PMI, etc.)
  • Is a stickler for details – timelines, accuracy, grammar, and brand standards.
  • Works well with a diverse, virtual team.
  • Is skilled at using technology as part of marketing campaigns and supporting project management.
  • Has a strong command of a variety of marketing tactics, especially digital marketing tactics that support lead generation.
  • Communicates with clarity and professionalism.
  • Is a good writer.
  • Likes to juggle multiple responsibilities and tasks.
  • Relishes learning, testing new things, and sharing their knowledge.
